The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,450.95 points, down 53.39 points from Friday’s close. The trade value was 6.26 billion baht, with 1.38 billion shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 922.30 points, down 34.93 points, or 3.65%, with a total trade value of 3.65 billion baht. The MAI index went down 27.39 points or 4.89% to stand at 532.94 points, with total transaction value of 278.53 million baht. However, the SET quickly rebounded to stand at 1,467.58, down 36.76 points or 2.44% at 10.08am.
